Douglas Ratzlaff

I started doing personal tax returns part time for the 1979 taxation year.  Over time, the business grew into a full practice that includes corporate tax returns, monthly bookkeeping services, business consulting and all facets of administrative thereby offering a full array of services.  After several years of operating as a proprietorship, Bev and I founded Motiv 8 Systems, Inc. in July 1995.  Being tenacious and meticulous by nature, has proven to be very beneficial as an addition to our customer service.

Bev Oryall

After 20 years of employment in the Automotive Finance industry, I joined Motiv 8 Systems on a full-time basis in August 2001. Prior to this, I was there to help out as needed (especially at tax time) on a part-time basis. During my years in the Auto Finance industry I worked in both the Accounting and Credit departments, handling Wholesale, Retail & Lease accounts, and was for some time responsible for branch training, and IT duties.

We will treat each client with the utmost of care, while developing and maintaining a strong personal relationship. We will provide service with a commitment to professionalism, trust and the highest level of care and professional integrity.

Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping is provided on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis depending on our client’s individual needs. For existing or new clients we develop and streamline a chart of accounts to suit your unique business set up. General Ledgers maintained to support GST, PST and Tax filings. Experienced with corporations, proprietorships, partnerships and associations. Can provide direction to business owners for better methods of document and file storage for easy accessibility.

Taxes

Prepare and file personal tax returns, corporate tax returns, estate tax returns, GST filings, PST filings. We also prepare and file T4’s, T5’s, T4A’s, T3’s and T5018’s.

Year-End Reporting and Final Accounts

If you are doing your own day to day bookkeeping, we will review and provide year-end closing entries as well as file the appropriate documents.  We also will assist with wind up and related filing of documentation

Other Services

Preparation of financial statements for shareholders or borrowing needs, business consulting including structure and setup of a small business.  We also offer e-filing, net-filing and web-filing.
